Back to the hump...is it part of a design/artistic decision or has it anything to do with balance, or both?

Beautiful razor....in my ignorance, the hump at the toe (spine side) of the razor seems like it would affect stropping. I'm sure I'm wrong on this.....but an explanation of why I am wrong might...
