    Default 8/8+ Damascus Ram's Horn

Just finished and heading to the east coast -

    8/8+ Ladder damascus
Spanish point design w/ thumbnotch and jimps
Ram's horn scales w/ orange/red swirled recon stone wedge to accentuate the red in the horn
    ~ 1/4 to 3/8 hollow grind

    Thanks for looking!

Masterful job on that one Joe ! Ranks right up there with the best I have seen. Would be proud to own that one.

    That is magnificent!!!

Help a noob out here, if you hone that, do you have to tape it to protect the spine and the Damascus effect?

Beautiful razor....in my ignorance, the hump at the toe (spine side) of the razor seems like it would affect stropping. I'm sure I'm wrong on this.....but an explanation of why I am wrong might help. If I could guess I would say that the hump never contacts the strop.
