You can't accually close a blade into the handle/scales on these sets. Not the ones I have seen anyway. They are too short and are just used for balance and as a handle.

I ordered a similar set last year (W&B not as nice but still nice) and it arrived with shattered blades bouncing around inside the box. Had to fight the seller for a refund too. That's a nice set...
