It is quite hard. The sides show no real pattern that would indicate tooth marks. The final picture is a good color likeness of the slurry. Mostly light grey with a hint of brown.

dry it is fairly grey, but wet it is quite brown. I like it a lot so it isn't going anywhere. My Eschers however might find a trip to the curb.
