Well I've finally got it finished. My first attempt at scale making and I'm quite pleased with how it came out.
The scales are streaked horn with a horn wedge and pinned with brass.

It's a 1/4 hollow. The point is described as schorkopf french on the website. In reality none of it is really that scary, I just need to do it justice when I make the scales !
