Yes they did, the Barber Scales were often put on Razors by those who sold them (Barber Supplies etc.) so the dont fit 100% in most cases.

Im trying to rescale a Rameau a Sens Razor at the Moment, hard to get vintage scales that fit the blade, its a bit too wide and too long for standard 6/8" Scales like those from Revisor.
