Well, After giving the stone a really good clean last night and letting it dry the color did lighten up some what. I put the flashlight to it and it is transparent, its hard as hell and it cuts...

it could be, i cant remember what corner the price tag was on....it could be the sticker adhesive...

So, i picked up my first antique store hone yesterday. I got it home and cleaned off the top. It is Very smooth and hard and a green/grey...olive color. i put a razor to it for final hone this...
