Agreed. I bought the sampler and was impressed. Scent-wise, for me, it was a toss up between the bay rum and the Opus X (I freaking loved that one!). Performance-wise, I was very happy, too... slick...

Well, for cheap and good, Arko comes to mind. I dunno if you've tried it, but if not, I'd give it a go. It does lather differently than a puck soap or cream soap, but it gives good cushion and glide...
