Yours is prettier than mine though. I needed to give mine a sand as the leather was quite rough in places and it had a few bumps from scars on it. Sanding has made it lovely and soft.

I made my strop, and am pretty pleased with it too, though I haven't had a shop bought one to compare it to. Found the handsanding enjoyable but it took a lot longer than expected.

Nice work, it feels good to make your own stuff. Do you get good tension on the leather and the felt with them joined together?
