The pins are brass. Quite honestly I'm not sure of the collar material since I used what came off it. Feels (and were rusted) like steel, but not sure of the exact makeup. Maybe someone else knows :)...

Got the scales cleaned up. Used thin CA to wick down into the hairlines, sanded and used some Flitz. Who knew all that beauty was still under there!

Done all the sanding I can handle.
Went back to 320 and all the way to 3000.
Getting the 320 was the biggest help of all (thanks pups).

Got this Rodgers and figured I'd do a work in progress thread.
On initial look, seems like the blade is in ok shape, no real hone wear. When I got it apart it looks like there was a double pin...
