Honed it up and shaved with it this evening. Shaved well. Definitely handles a bit different than the heavier Sheffield blades I've been using lately.

Actually, turns out it was just left over polishing compound in the jimps, it seems. I was able to scrape it all out using the high tech tool of my shirt and the edge of my thumb nail.
