Another good point - I've never tried a vintage Dovo...my two are the newer production models. Have to keep my eye out for an older, vintage Dovo, they are worth giving a try!

The Dovo Bismarck I have and the Filly have been honed by the same person, and again, it's a case of YMMV, but compared to the Filly, the Dovo...

The Filarmonica is a fantastic blade, I'd rate them as one of the best shavers out there, and I'm particular to the old Sheffield razor's. I have 3 Filly's, and they are simply outstanding blades.
