Second work of the day : lone wade frameback blade, patched together with original scales that were holding an unrelated third wade (will be the subject of another less glamour work).

I think there is perhaps 1/1.5mm between the edge and the end of the scale. I tried running my finger and it didn’t touch.

pre-convention ivory, mop and tortoise on titanium, silver pins and inlay.

Unmarked blade with inlay of copper and aluminium or lead.

It is still to be tested, but the steel was very soft during the sharpening :-)

Last work of mine :

1820 blade, late 1700 ivory lace (piece of brocken fan from Dieppe), pinned with silver on tortoise (mid-1800).

Very stressful pinning, finaly achieved (took me four years...

Well, I hope it´ll stay tidy but I'm not too sure about that ^^
