Finally got the C-mon hollowed out!
Stuff in the brush knot area was like nothing I've tried to remove before. Bonded to and muted my mill ends in moments as soon as it started to bite.

The dubl duck brush in this 4 pack of repairs is aluminum and has some serious pitting. I'm going to be using silver solder on it, hoping to fill in and build up the voids. May be a sheen difference...

Finally got back to these and popped them off with much dremel carving and relief work from the inside.
They did not come out nearly as easily as my first rubberset reno did, but out they came...

Heads are being sticky, so applied a bit of heat to em tonight.

Andrew has a D01 in his rubberset 3 and says it's great. I installed it but never tested it.
I might order some tgn's and if when they arrive they aren't up to grade hold off and order from SM....

TGN doesn't carry a knot called 2 band.
I'm guessing it's what they call finest badger.
