Also remember natural bending of structures due to nature...i mean the pictures of bended coticule like this...

It depends on the stone and in my thinking also on which position of the layer it was taken out....

It really depends a bit on the stone, i owned a unlabelled one and a labelled one, used with thick slurry they worked quite fast...

The Lorraine i own is a very fine finisher...i really like it

I can only add again, that my opinion is that the stones appear different within the layer so they might own certain differences in the abilities and their appearance they show...

I can assure...

The stones work quite good/fast with a thick slurry....finishing on plain water makes a quite shiny bevel even when the scratch pattern isnt too fine from the look, a very well HHT is possible...

I find the layering of the Goldfisch Stone you posted and the one i posted quite comparable, the lines are darker violet to blue....
