I started with greaseless compound from 80 grit...
I started with greaseless compound from 80 grit up to 600. From there emery, blending bar, green, and pink bars. In all, time on refinishing 2 - 3 hours.

Just finished restoring a 6/8 Mappin & Webb 6/8 Razor.....1/4 grind......1860....Scales are Micarta Black Paper....
