I do believe your right. I got out the mag. glass and it looks like the l is really a capitol D with most of the curve gone I thought it was a cap L. Thanks. Would it still be mid 1800's.

I know i have found nothing. i do know it shaves...
I know i have found nothing. i do know it shaves good. when i honed it it took 3 layers of tape to get the edge i was looking for but as for hone wear there was very little. I really don't understand...
