I did work on it more today and it did clean up and polish up a lot nicer than the last photos of it. I also hone using the 1-3-5-8 and 12K naniwa Super Stones and finished with the 20K Suehiro....

I probably should rub on it some more but the hands began to hurt. so I'll wait for now.

I may have do this again. I tried to attach 2 photos of the razor front and back after a little cleaning and polishing. lets see if it worked.

I hope so too. It really all depends on the width of the blade and how deep th pits are. I got my fingers crossed.

I really don't know what size blade the scales would accommodate but where else could you pick up scales like these for 9.99? The might make a nice pendent.
