I need to sell my computer
Just breazing through the bay and saw this one. out of an uncontrolable impulse I made the opening bid not thinking I'd get it but to my suprize I did. I rreally don't know any thing about the brand or the scales but it should be interesting to see how bad the rust is. I hope the scales are what they look like. The name on it is Asprey and also on the blade is 186 Bond street London. nothing else. Who knows?

Thanked: 3227Nice catch. Lovely Sheffield razor with ivory scales from a high end London retailer in the prime shopping area. I think they are still in business a few doors away from that address.

Thanked: 634Congratulations. I was going to bid. Blade looks poor at edge but scales look like Ivory.

I really don't know if the blade can be restored or not but the scales look good. This will make the 2nd set of Ivory scales that i have one set the blade is toast I hope this one can be saved if no I will continue looking for a blade to fit. The wedge end of this set is lead or at least it looks like lead and back then I don't think they had plastic.

Thanked: 4827The scales do look awesome. If the blade is spent then you can always send it to Sharptonn for wind chimes.

That is one of those heavier Sheffield grinds so you may luck out on the bevel being restorable. Hope so .........
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
