It could be an old repair. The grind was definitely professionally done. The pictures are at an angle but as you can see in the second pic taken straight on there is a notch. The toe isn't rounded...

From the honewear I believe that's how the toe was ground originally to distinguish itself from the rounded toe of a W&B

My new F.R. "Celebrated for Barber's use" shares the same style etching/marketing as Wade & Butcher. Just had it rescaled in horn as the originals were unfortunately broken.
