No worries brother. It looks to me like it could be sent to someone to hone as is. Wipe it off, send it to a pro to get it honed and try using it.

We aren't in the business of giving appraisals (not allowed on forum) but I will tell you that it will clean up well and take a great edge. You might try eBay and see what others have sold the same...
