Pressure is definitely the key with a shavette. I try to imagine I'm only trying to remove the soap. That seems to work

I'm using feather pro blades in mine at the minute. They seem to work well but I have no comparison. So I'll probably take your advice.

I've just been looking at a few shavettes and I'm shocked at how high in price they can go.
I'm gonna look for a mid range one that takes long blades.
I'll look for Ukelele now
