Pivot hole to tip is 4-5/8 so I have one of the larger specimens. I will continue to look for replacement scales and just wanted to know how much variation there might be. thanks for the info.

I am guessing it was at least 6/8. It had a lot of hone wear to go with the nasty frown. When I finished straightening the edge there was just under 5/8 left and I took a good 1/8 off the blade.

The blade is 13/16 wide and 3-1/8" long from the back of the heel to the tip of the round point. The good scales were not warped and the frowned blade closed to center. Pic is of the good scales....

I picked up a Wonderedge at an antique show for $10. The original scales had been replaced with plain celluloid and had a cotter pin holding the pivot joint together. The steel was in very good...
