I have an identical blade. Not stamped wade and butcher or any other makers mark but Sheffield is stamped on it. Shorter than the average blade. You'll like it ;-)

It was unpinned I assume, most people dont reallize its repairable.

Not any distortion other than from the near wedge grind...around the tang looks polished slightly so probably been buffed but not heavily. I've seen heavy buffing and the wavyness that it creates...

I don't see the distortion in person.

Picked em up like that, look to be nos condition. No signs of sanding or heavy buffing, and one only needed a touch up honing. Either way 55 bucks each is more than I tend to pay but these were too...

Yeah, didn't reallize there were multiple variations.

Now that I have looked at others, what language is this one....
