It's all relative, of course, and FYI, my only other reference point is my 3-band Shavemac, but I would say soft with backbone.

Phrank is correct, this brush isn't available on the Shavemac site anywhere. I contacted Bernd directly to custom order it.

So just a bit of follow-up... I love this brush!!! As good as my Shavemac 3-band fan is for face lathering, my new Americana 2-band flat is even better, especially the flow through! It is a purpose...
