Of course :) Again for a 7/8" 7 ÷ 8=0.875...

7 ÷ 8=0.875
0.875 ÷ 3.5 =0.25
0.25=1/4"
Or 4 instead of 3.5 if you want a slightly steeper bevel. -

My point was for any given blade height you wanted to make, find the width needed for the correct honing angle. -
