    It was a lucky thing that the etching was so deep. I didn't know which would start to disappear first, the scratches or the etch. In the end it was close.

    I just honed and shaved with it. I found a tiny bit of a frown about a third of the way from the heel and had to take off a little metal. Otherwise it sharpened easily and moves around my face well.

    Me too, the two seem to be trying to compete with the same visual statement so as to appeal to the same buyers. The black filled stamp on the tangs are just too alike in execution.
