I would say I have a tough beard so an normal hollow grind will be fine I would have thought. Will the 2 differnt damascus metal be better for differnt beard types ?

Do you find you get a better more comfortable shave with your San mai damascus OR ur wooden pattern carbon damascus. Also do you think extra hollow grind helps with a smoother shave ?

Am I right in thinking the San Mao has more markings in the metal than the twisted Damascus ?

I haven't ever had to hone I have always turned to diamond pasted strops and that seams to keep my razors sharpe indefinitely. But I was going to buy a 12k stone for touch ups
