I am restoring one of those right now. Not cracked but it is a near wedge . Might be why the crack is so big.

as far a wear it does look pretty minor if it is really as old as the style makes it look but it is also missing a huge chunk of the heal.

that is something else all right. I also enjoy that the scales were rebladed.

How would you even hold this to shave? I am curious about the idea of a micotome grind on something that long.
