Interesting question, My experience with a coti edge is that it is very forgiving I can pretty much go bananas all over my face with the razor not feel like its going to scratch or cut within reason....

I just want to add a little something to my previous post. If some of you guys that are using microscopes or some other optics to evaluate edges you may become confused.
