Is cell rot prevalent in red celluloid. I thought it was far more common in translucent colors? Is a milky haze on the scales another indicator?

It has a thick patina but no rust or stains.. So I left it. I like the contrast to the polished blade. Its going to be a daily shaver.

No I need to either hone her or have her honed. Also anyone know how to get oxidation outta plastic or Bakelite scales
