    I wonder if one could squeegee the whole top...

    I wonder if one could squeegee the whole top surface with CA to get it down into the checking and then lap it.

    Is it important that the stone is fully dried...

    Is it important that the stone is fully dried before the CA? Or is CA not sensitive to moisture. I know that some glues actually rely on moisture to cure.
