I got it from a hobby store, it's called brass...
I got it from a hobby store, it's called brass shim stock and it came in a multi pack I believe this was .005 thickness if I remember right

Does it only work on brass? I have some stain...
Does it only work on brass? I have some stain less steel sheets I was thinking about doing the same thing as the brass scales

Well it is polished to 12k micromesh and I added...

Well I found another post about this process after I made mine, and wish I would have had the input. Hopefully I dont have issues with the flex of the scales.
Either way I think they turned out...
