No, its not original. Just made it out of european oak. The stone is a Shoubudani and the bottom is a bit uneven, hence the fitted holder.

Solingen "Gazelle" on Shoubu Asagi. Yae-Botan and Tsushima nagura followed by a two step tomo finish, first a soft Aiwadani tomo and then a harder Ozuku: 229385

First Kamisori honing from bevel to finish. This one was never honed before. Started on a coti and worked for a long while, but the bevel on the Ura never wanted to form. Really hard steel on...

Continuing working on this Hartkopf. Finished last time on the coti side of the Les Lat. Shave was good; close and smooth. Went to the hybrid side today.

Rehoned my Gazelle (prob. Krusius Br. Solingen). Previously honed with tape, now without. Bevel reset on a Suita. Finish on Thüringer with trace slurry.
