Yep, suggest you don't give up and keep trying. It may be an old puck and just needs that "top layer" of soap scraped off before it starts to perform well. Do please post back and update us on how...

Unfortunately it's not an issue with triple-milled or English soaps. It's rather a case of Trumper's reformulating their vegetable based formula and have produced a few bad batches from 2011 onwards....
