I always put it up dry but this is a new big block and it is kind of rough, and it doesn't seem to polish out as easy as I thought. It seems more like an ice glacier with air pockets in it .:beer1:

My alum block is smooth on one side :rofl2: but it feels like a kittens claws are hanging out the other side. I tried to give it a regrind with my wife's emery board ( might have ruined it :gaah:)...
