It may be just me but lots of wet shavers complain about Williams that doesn't gave any or not much protection, well maybe it's just my face like someone say's on you tube i have the skin of a rhino...

To be honnest Williams(modern) is the only shaving soap that a soak overnight(new puck). For all others soaps(hard puck) i use few tea spoon of water on top of the puck. Even if i do the overnight...

It's a interesting question, but as i mention in other threads i only have 1 trouble whit modern Williams since i'm using it. To my opinion it was a bad soap, when i open a new puck i let it soak...

Me i have no trouble bowl lathering it, i did tried face lathering it and to my personnal prefference i preffer bowl lathering. Gino
