Spent a little time on the buffer and polishing....
Spent a little time on the buffer and polishing. It went quite well.
I used a 24mm Tuxedo Synthetic knot.

Seems to me that the hardest thing will be to get a good grip on the top part without leaving a mark or bending the metal. I guess I'll be shopping for a small strap wrench. I've used them plenty...
