I like the mask because it won't fog up, and it seals my whole face from the glass flying everywhere. I have no real itching, for today....

Don't snort it or eat it. I imagine you'd be just fine. I've handled lead for some time, now. No adverse effects of yet. Even got a strop pasted in lead.

Ya kinda get an eye for which are honey horn, and those that aren't. Before sanding them down. How good they are is yet to surface, is the bad part.

From what I understand, Paul. Honey horn comes more from the center of the horn, compared to the outer layers, which is typically darker. :shrug:

They look good, to me. Speckles are character....

They'll sharpen in color after a good soak and polish. After repairs, that is.

Looks to be mainly imbedded in the inside of the scales. U know me, if it can be ground and filled...I'm on it. If not, hello dye. Just hard to let streaked honey horn go, I guess. :shrug:

In most cases....yes. But now a day, it's cheaper to rebuild it, if the interior, trailer ,and outside of the hull is in good shape.

The top half of the boat stays attached to keeps the hull from turning into jello, once the floor, bulkheads, stringers and transom are removed. At least as far as it takes to reach solid wood...

This one isn't razor related, but there's plenty of sharp pointy things involved.

Freddie's back. Repair was a total success.

The CA, grind and fill, went just as planned.
Original break is still noticed, but looks more like a crack in the scales, than a break that's been...

Got the Freddy pinned up, and before I could get it to the honing bench, a previous repair let go. Thought it might, being so close to the wedge.

So....back apart, and old CA cleaned from repair....

Wouldn't be the first time I've come across just that.

I was going to say they looked a bit, grainy. And needed a good sanding with 220.

Finished up the Frederick's, tonite.

Had a hickup with the dye, didn't take very well. I'd mixed up half of it over a year ago, so I assume it looses it's potency if not used, soon after opening...

Sanded the Frederick's up to 1200 grit.

If it moves, you'll hear it on the hone, in a X stroke. I kept pressure/torque to a minimum, and kept it from coming off the edge of the hone. My concern is moisture is eventually going to cause...
