It's all ground out, Jerry.

It ended up a heavy 11/16 at the heel. And a heavy 6/8 at the toe. I saved as much as I could, so hopefully it evens out, after honing.

Heel reshaped.
Stabilizers thinned, and shaped.
Edge ground to contour.

Its looking like its going to be a 6/8, once ground back into shape.

Crack is about as deep as the largest chip.

Been awhile since anyone has visited here, so.... I'll brake the silence.

A Wosty IXL, all chipped up, with a small crack near the toe. Was 7/8ths, we'll see once finished.

Talking about woods, Mike. I really wished I had more of the African Blackwood. Loved working with that stuff, has the coolest grain. A chocolate n gold look about it.

Fixed up a set of busted Bakelite scales for the Tadross tonite.
Started by taping the scales together to keep things even, then with the use of the dremmel and a drum sander, I reshaped the pivot...

Took a few hours to get it ground and smoothed out.
Used a couple different type pencil grinders in the dremmel, a small, pocket sized whetstone, and some 1000 grt. W&D paper on the eraser end of...

I've amputated the toe and smoothed the sharp edges, reshaped the heal and thinned the stabilizers, and contoured the edge to match the spine. Gave it a cleaning with Maas n a rag.
