For mine, I set the knot a little deeper to get more backbone. I think the hair at the base of the knot catches moisture, which is why it will dry if I hang it up. Almost like a little plastic cup...

For mine, I squeeze it out, then dry it on a towel. If I hang upside down, it will be dry the next day. If I set I on it's base, it will still be a little damp. I don't travel with my synthetic.

I have one I reknotted that is from The Golden Nib. It will stay wet I just set on it's base. It is the only knot I am convinced actually should be hung up to dry. That said, performance is great,...
