Recently bought myself a new 2 man tent, MSR Elixir, which will get its first outing on the weekend of the 23/24 September when I go out of town for a trail run.

I just sold a 9/10 year old 2 man hiking tent and am about to purchase a MSR Elixir 2 as the replacement.

At least the MSR is 2kg's lighter than the tent it's replacing.

Was talking with the GF last night about a camping trip at the end of the year and taking some of the kids with. Going to do some investigation into the options.

I was going to suggest that it was a little to big for his ElectraGlide/RoadKing. :D
