This Stone holds water incredibly well so it differently needs to be sealed. Do you have any suggestions on what to seal it with( preferably something clear so that way I can still see the grain)?...

I haven't tried honing with it yet. But if you're referring to the picture with the tape measure in it believe that they are embedded fossils.
