The metal would be very interesting, but you would need a different kind of laser with some where in the area of 300W or more. $XXX,XXX.OO , not in the budget this year. :)

Well I tried, what else can you say. Micarta is just to hard. It wants to melt more then anything. Kinda figured that would be the case.
But here is what you get.

This was canvas micata...

Never tried Dymondwood, but I have a scrap piece of micarta I will see what happens. Stay tuned, will post a pic good or bad:shrug:
