In the pic of the bottom of the tang , it looks like the "Damascus" pattern does not transition into the bottom of the tang . Are you sure the pattern isn't photo etched onto the blade ?

Will it be shave ready , or are you supposed to hone it ? I would think that someone who has the talent to make such fine razors , would not think of sending it unhoned .

If it looks like a straight razor , I suppose he can call it a straight razor . Besides , nobody shaves with straight razors anymore .:D

Do you really think a person would sell hand made (by their own 2 hands , presumably) "Damascus" steel razors for $40 ?

I wonder where he makes them , Pakistan or China ?:D
