Thank you! Yes, I was considering a satin finish, and it would actually work quiet well with this blade because the line between blade face and spine is so well defined by the "rattler" style grind....

@Karl, that's right, there is no finish on the ebony. I figured it was plenty oily enough on it's own and it just has a nice natural feel... -
