I think you are trying to talk yourself out of buying it. For a 70 to 80 year old razor, it looks good.

I won't disagree, or be disagreeable. I purchase razors to shave with. While I have one or two that are rare, or at least not common, I still shave with them, so my preferred size is important.

Round, spike, spanish, barber notch, french, makes no difference to me. I wouldn't buy it because its 5/8ths. :)
