Bad news, leather is hard, dried out beyond repair. Back side was so bad you could easily dig the leather out with your finger nail. I really wanted this one to because it was virtually flawless...

Well, the second one is not here yet. But I can post my first one. Hold on....here we go...
No cracking but some innocuous cuts along the rim. I love the smell of it, heavy pipe tobacco... I think...

This is my second one I snagged off the bay. First one I'm using now, needed a little tlc. Did anyone else see it? These strops are Rock Stars!:rock:
