I just finished up that Scargill, and now I've got about 5 razors that need refreshing. I did a bunch on my Escher yesterday, today I'll focus on the Arkansas. I'll then compare the two groups.

That is two votes for polish and steel wool.

I'll go that route, neither of these razors need much work.

Here's a few projects for today.

The top razor is a T. Scargill (TS Cargill?). It doesn't need much done. No active rust, mostly just a normal patina.

Before you mentioned CA I was wondering if epoxy would work. It didn't.

I was thinking of splicing in a piece from a donor set further down near that bolster, epoxy them together with some ground up horn dust, sanding to get them to match and then dying the scales...

The blade turned out nice compared to where it was earlier. There's some pitting left over in various spots, I never seem to want to take off much metal to totally get rid of the pits....

Here's one of my Reynolds humpback rattlers.
