I seal the wood with a sealer designed for gunstocks. Then I give the wood a light sanding with 400 and 600 sandpaper and apply a linseed oil finish called varnish oil. I buff it out after it cures...

New scales for a pair of Henckels razors for a forum member. The top is padauk, and the bottom is bubinga. Butt spacers are ebony.
